Mos Def’s Ecstatic album is still in heavy rotation.
This is definitely his best work since 1999′s Black on Both Sides
and Priority being one of the stand out tracks

Fresh new paintings

Top is acrylic on canvas bottom is acrylic on paper
Pictures aren’t that great, I was having trouble with the lighting and flash.
They were taken with the  new Casio EX-S10, which replaced the old handheld after it was dropped too many times.
Camera is pretty slim and small. Definitely easier to carry around.

I used to paint a lot with oils, but these new ones are all done with acrylics.
I’m really liking the ease of use, there is not much needed to get going and clean up is done in 5 minutes. works for me.

I’ve been doing some painting lately
It’s definitely something that i really wanted to get back to for a while.
They’re a lot of fun and definitely gets me off the computer and/or away from the TV.
These paintings are just based from my sketchbook, and i usually finish each of them on the same night.
