Shot in Central Park NYC

It was extremely hot today. I felt really bad for the dogs. This is one of the last pictures of teh day and will probably not make  the cut. The setting was very nice.
This was a pleasant shoot though, the dogs and the owners were both very nice.

I worked on some T-Shirt ideas for my old elementary school. I have a friend that teaches second grade there now.
I was asked to come up with some concepts for their annual t-shirt, they use the shirts to raise money for school trips and other events for the kids.

I tried to go with a more typographic treatment to these shirts, but perhaps I went a little too far. I never heard back if they were getting printed up or not.

On the eve of Talib Kweli’s new album (Eardrum Blacksmith/Warner Bros. Records) i’ve been listening a lot of his work. AHH!!
i really wish i could explain in words how i felt when this picture was taken. it was the summer before the black star album dropped. this wasn’t the first time i had seen them rock but it was definitely one of the best. Talib Kweli and Mos Def are Black Star… opening for The Legendary Roots Crew. I’m still waiting on a new Black Star album. good luck
